Auctopus coordinates agents that propose, challenge and run experiments in a closed loop. In one solid-state quantum-spin study, the system detected drift, rejected an inconclusive first result and revised the protocol before reporting a result. The MIT repository includes an offline mock demo, but omits the study prompts and instrument description needed to reproduce the paper experiment.

Why read: Rejecting results and revising protocols is useful, but the real experiment cannot be reproduced from public materials.

Recommendation: WATCH

Sources: Auctopus: Closed-loop autonomous experimentation · Auctopus repository
