Anthropic expands cyber access into three verified tiers
Anthropic merged Project Glasswing and its Cyber Verification Program into three verified access tiers. Defense Access, Red Team Access and Specialized Access progressively reduce cyber blocks for authorized work while increasing identity, security-control and monitoring requirements. The program covers Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5, Mythos 5.1 and future models across Claude Platform, Vertex AI and Microsoft Foundry.
Availability: Claude Platform, Vertex AI and Microsoft Foundry; Bedrock only with EFS eligibility
What this means for you
For security teams, frontier cyber access is becoming a governed distribution product rather than a blanket model setting. The vendor-reported vulnerability counts are substantial, but retention, authorization and misuse-monitoring boundaries still need contractual review.
