Ai2 released OlmoEarth v1.3 plus annual global embeddings at 10-meter resolution in 64- and 128-dimensional forms. The model consumes one year of Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2 and Landsat observations, and the release includes weights, pretraining code, data and a browser explorer. Ai2 reports leading results on most of 27 evaluations; those comparisons are publisher-run.
What this means for you
For geospatial teams, downloadable global embeddings can remove a costly remote-sensing pretraining step and make land-use prototypes much faster. The custom artifact license and domain-specific independent validation remain gating items.
