Anthropic donated the Agent Skills name, marks, GitHub organization and agentskills.io domain to the Linux Foundation's Agentic AI Foundation. Engineers from Anthropic, Google, OpenAI and other companies will maintain the specification as individuals. Anthropic says more than 70 platforms have integrated the standard; these adoption figures are publisher-reported.
